AGM 3.1.07 and discussion about a regional PFA Rally Message from Stewart Luck.
Hey Tony say Hi to everyone! Well done for a
great effort on the newsletter. It seems you have a wonderful group of
folks to work with. Please send my regards to them all at the Strut
Dinner!
We had a good NC meeting John Broad of
Oxford Group and VAC is the new NC Chairman. He has some interesting
ideas such as doing all the reports in one half of the day and something
else useful with the rest of the time.
The Youth and Education Strut "YES" gave
presentations to NC. One on the PFA Scouts ventures,a second on the PFA/Scout
aviation camps of this year. The PFA/Scouts hope to run 10 new camps in
2005. Could you guys team up with another Strut to host one? All
instructions provided! The third was by Teacher Dave Hall who is working
on a C.D. to give to teachers about Science Technology Languages History
etc etc. The idea is that it shows pictures of past PFA Rallies with
kids attending and having a good time. We are going to invite 1000 kids
to the PFA event at Kemble. Its called FFF05 having been given a
complete makeover. I am looking for volunteers to be PFA guides to take
some kids on tours. It would take about an hour out of the day for each
volunteer. Guys like Don Lord could look after a few VIPs.
The Build A Plane project is about to fly
from Barton. The mobile project vehicle (PFA bus) will then be taken
around the country to promote Brooklands, PFA and Semta etc. We have got
several folks come foward to help after Brian hope got us mentioned in
the PFA mag. We are looking for Drivers and conductors!
Enjoy the dinner!
Happy christmas and a great SAFE new year.
